Keyboard shortcuts

Shortcuts that name Cmd/Ctrl use the Command key on a Mac and Control everywhere else. Either works on either keyboard. A shortcut written as one key then another is pressed as a sequence, not held together: press the first, let go, then press the second within a second.

Shortcuts made of letters alone, the go-to sequences among them, never fire while you are typing in a field. Cmd/Ctrl+K, Cmd/Ctrl+B and Cmd/Ctrl+J work from anywhere, and the editor’s shortcuts work inside the editor. The sidebar rows, the sidebar’s edge, the editor’s toolbar buttons and the board’s Clear selection button show their shortcut when you pause the pointer on them.

A go-to shortcut for a place in a product, pressed on that place or anywhere outside a product, asks which product instead: the command palette opens on a list of your products, grouped by team, with the team you are in first. If the product you are in is on the list, it is selected, so Enter keeps it. Pick one and you land on that place in that product. While a product is in Discovery, Discovery is its dashboard, and no other place in it is there yet. Every other go-to shortcut asks which product instead, and its list leaves out the products still in Discovery. The inbox and the Agent page are one per organization, so their shortcuts always go straight there.

KeysDoes
JMoves to the next row.
KMoves to the previous row.
Cmd/Ctrl+DownJumps to the last row.
Cmd/Ctrl+UpJumps to the first row.
EscLeaves the list’s keyboard mode.

The arrow keys move like J and K, and Enter opens the row. The keys move across every open group, and start from the row under the pointer. In Documents they skip a document that has not been generated yet, since there is nothing to open. When you open a row and come back, the row you opened is still marked. They work in the run list, the deployment lists, and the finding and policy lists. In Runs, the run the keys land on also shows when it started, or when it was queued if it has not started.
